Hint: 210= 1024

If you cut water 1 time It wil be cut into 2 parts= 2^1

If you cut two times there will be 4 parts=2^2

If you cut 3rd cut (placing each of 4 parts in a line) then you get 8 parts=2^3

Similarly after 10 cuts result will be 1048

    At the top in the green it says 1028 but the picture shows 1024 which one is right??

    Wording is all off on this. It doesnt say you cut ever piece up to 10. it just says 10 cuts….

      Yeah, I think he went wrong somewhere while doing the math cause the answer that worked for me was 1024

      The answer should be 1024. 2^10 = 1024.

        De hecho es esa. 2 de cada corte a la 10. Es por 2 base de resultado de un corte elevado a 10 (los cortes que se harían).
        Simplificado:
        un corte da 2 trozos. Los pones uno encima de otro y los cortas
        Segundo corte da 4 trozos. Los apilas de nuevo y otro corte
        Tercer corte da 8 trozos, repites la operación(a partir de ahora representado por “…” )
        Cuarto corte 16….
        Quinto corte 32…
        sexto corte 64…
        Septimo corte 128…
        Octavo corte 256…
        Noveno corte 512 trozos, los apilas y cortas
        Décimo corte 1024 trozos (es decir el 2 base de cortas algo en dos unidades elevado a10 cortes de esa base, da 1024)
