Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Level 66 is a matching game with a catch: you have to touch both halves of a pair together. The solution video shows the two-finger tap. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

Solution
  1. Find the pairsEvery shape has an identical twin somewhere else on the screen.
  2. Tap both at onceUse two fingers to touch the two shapes of a pair at exactly the same time.
  3. Do all four pairsRepeat for the squares, triangles, circles and pentagons.
Why it worksA shape only goes away when its twin is touched at the same moment, which is why you need two fingers. Tapping one at a time does nothing.
