Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Level 67 is a traffic jam of boxes with two balls stuck on opposite sides. The picture shows the route you need to clear. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

Clear a path between the two balls.
Solution
  1. Find the gapLook for a route across the screen between the two balls.
  2. Clear the wayDrag boxes out of the route. Each box has to end up not touching any other box or ball.
  3. Bring them togetherMove the two balls towards each other until they meet.
Why it worksThe balls can only meet if nothing blocks them. Boxes that end up touching something count as part of the jam, so every box has to finish standing alone.
