Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Level 3 starts in the dark and shows you nothing to tap, so it’s easy to get stuck. The solution video shows the whole thing in a few seconds. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

Solution
  1. Flip the switchTap the switch in the top right corner to turn on light mode.
  2. Find the buttonThe screen turns light and the real question and a yellow button appear.
  3. Tap it three timesTap the yellow button three times.
Why it worksThe level runs in dark mode, which hides the button. The switch in the corner is a light switch, and once the lights are on the level can finally ask its question.
