Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Level 31 has sixteen buttons with different levels of patience. The numbers in the picture show how many taps the ones we know need. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

Solution
  1. Tap each buttonTap every button until it changes colour.
  2. Different tapsThe buttons need different numbers of taps. The top-left one needs 1 tap.
  3. Bottom rowThe four buttons on the bottom row need 4 taps each.
Why it worksThe colours change one tap at a time and each button has its own number of taps. The ones in the middle need somewhere in between, so tap until they change.
