Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Level 27 uses tilting and dragging together. The picture shows the ball, the boxes and the basket. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

The boxes can be moved, and they change where the ball goes.
Hint 2Tap to reveal
Your phone moves the ball, and your fingers move the boxes.
Place the boxes, then tilt the ball into the basket.
Solution
  1. Move the boxesDrag one small box left, next to the bigger box. Drag the other small box next to the opening of the basket.
  2. Tilt to rollTurn your phone so the ball rolls down towards the basket.
  3. Into the basketThe boxes steer the ball into the opening. Keep tilting until it drops in.
Why it worksThe boxes work like bumpers. Placed in the right spots they turn the ball’s path so that it ends up in the basket instead of rolling past.
