Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.
To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Solution
- Read it as “X”“Ex” sounds like the letter X. The nine circles need to show an X shape.
- Cover the middlesDrag the dark boxes onto the four middle-edge circles: top middle and left middle first.
- Finish the XThen cover the right-middle and bottom-middle circles. The corners and centre are left showing, making an X.
Why it worksAn X on a three-by-three grid uses the four corners and the centre. Hiding the other four circles with the boxes leaves exactly that shape.
