Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Level 17 looks like a weights puzzle, but the weights aren’t what you need to move. Here’s the trick. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

Moving the weights around won’t work. There are too few of them.

Something under the see-saw can move.
Drag the round pivot towards the heavy side.
Solution
  1. Find the pivotPress on the small round circle under the see-saw.
  2. Slide it leftDrag it slowly towards the heavier left side.
  3. Level it outLet go when the see-saw sits flat.
Why it worksWith two weights on one side and one on the other you can never even them out by moving weights. Moving the pivot closer to the heavy side balances it instead, just like a real lever.
