Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

What you see

Level 45 asks you to sort three colours using colour-coded walls. The picture shows the starting mix. The wall and ball positions may differ in your game. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

Solution
  1. Change the wall colourTap a wall to change its colour.
  2. Match colours to passA ball can only cross a wall of its own colour. Set a wall to green, and green balls can go through.
  3. Sort the ballsDrag balls into the other sections until each section holds a single colour.
Why it worksWalls are colour-coded. Changing a wall’s colour lets only the balls of that colour through, so you can filter the mix one colour at a time.
