About the game

Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Level 95 is about splitting a square the right way. The picture shows the big square and the three slots. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

One piece has to stay put while you shake.
Shake to break the square. Hold the half piece.
Solution
  1. Shake the phoneShake your phone to break the big square into pieces.
  2. Pick the right piecesYou need two quarter pieces for the small slots and one half piece for the tall slot.
  3. Shake again, hold the halfShake a second time, and this time keep a finger on the half piece so it doesn’t break.
Why it worksThe big square can split into quarters or halves. Two quarters and one half is exactly the three slots below, but the half needs holding still on the second shake.
