Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

“make them bigger!” and three small purple dots: one near the top, one on the left and one on the right.

Level 84 uses your phone’s motion sensor in three directions. The solution video shows each turn. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

Tapping the dots won’t make them grow.

Something that always pulls downwards can help.
Solution
  1. Left side downTurn your phone so its left edge points to the floor. Hold it until the left dot grows and turns green.
  2. Right side downNow turn it so the right edge points down, and wait for the right dot.
  3. Upside downFinally turn the phone upside down so the top dot grows too.
Why it worksEach dot grows when gravity pulls it down, so you have to point each side of the phone at the floor in turn.
