Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

  1. Tilt to the rightTilt your phone so the right side goes down.
  2. Let it rollThe ball rolls off the end of the ledge and drops.
  3. Fill the boxIt lands in the box, and the box isn’t empty any more.
Why it worksThe ball uses your phone’s motion sensor. Tilting the phone changes which way it rolls, so you steer it into the box.
