Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.
To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Pentagon on top, square under its left side, triangle on the right. All 8 balls are touched.
Solution
- Pentagon on topDrag the pentagon to the upper middle. It sits at the top of the group, with one ball above it and one ball at each of its left and right corners.
- Square under its left sidePut the square under the pentagon’s left half. The square’s top-left corner and the pentagon’s bottom-left corner meet at the same ball. The square’s other two bottom corners each get a ball.
- Triangle on the rightTuck the triangle in beside them. Its top corner shares a ball with the pentagon’s right corner. Its left corner shares one ball with the pentagon’s bottom-right corner and the square’s top-right corner. Its bottom-right corner gets the last ball.
Why it worksThere are 12 corners and only 8 balls, so four corners have to share. Three balls do the sharing: one for the pentagon and the triangle, one for the pentagon and the square, and one in the middle for all three shapes.
