About the game

Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

What you see

Level 256 is a timing puzzle. The picture shows the two triangles on the slope; place and remove them one at a time. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

You need two stops.
Tap the ball (1), stop it with a triangle (2), let it go, then stop it again with a second triangle (3).
Solution
  1. Start it rollingTap the ball. It starts rolling down the slope.
  2. Stop itDrag a dark triangle onto the slope in front of the ball. The ball stops when it reaches it.
  3. Roll, stop againTake the triangle away and the ball rolls again. Then place a second triangle further down to stop it a second time, and take that away for the last roll.
Why it worksThe heading is the recipe: roll, stop, roll, stop, roll. Two triangles on the slope give two stops, and removing each one lets the ball go again.
