Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Level 24 looks like a simple tapping level, but the order matters. The solution video shows exactly which shape to tap next. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

Try counting. Which shape could be “one”, and which could be “two”?
Solution
  1. Circles firstTap the single circle, then the pair of circles.
  2. Then cornersTap the triangle, then the single square.
  3. Finish upTap the double square, and finally the hexagon.
Why it worksThe shapes go away in a counting order, one to six. Tapping one out of turn doesn’t work.
