Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.
To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Press up (1), then down (2), and repeat until the up arrow has been pressed 20 times.
Solution
- Each press moves the padPressing an arrow slides the whole pad one square that way across a 5 × 5 board.
- Don’t push it offAn arrow that ends up off the board can’t be pressed. So use two opposite arrows: press up, then down to come back, then up again.
- 20 pressesKeep going up, down, up, down. After the 20th press on the same arrow it wears out and breaks. Left and right work the same way.
Why it worksAny arrow breaks after 20 presses, but pressing the same arrow over and over pushes it off the board. Swapping between two opposite arrows keeps the pad in place while the count goes up.
