Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

What you see
“no more balls.” with ten pink balls and ten pink cone-shaped triangles pointing up, down, left and right.

Level 220 is a one-shot puzzle. The numbers show an order that clears every ball, worked out from the game’s grid. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

Tap the triangles in the numbered order (1–7).
Solution
  1. Open the wayTap the right-pointing triangle on the left side first: it clears the whole second row from the bottom. Then tap the left-pointing triangle on the middle row; it hits nothing but gets out of the way.
  2. Clear the top rowsTap the left-pointing triangle in the middle of the second row, then the upward triangle at the bottom middle.
  3. FinishTap the two downward triangles at the top left, then the left-pointing triangle on the far right. All ten balls are gone.
Why it worksSome balls are hidden behind other triangles, so the order matters. Firing the triangles that are in the way first leaves clear lines for the rest. This order uses 7 of the 10 triangles and no shot hits another triangle.
