Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Level 79 needs four red balls, and the obvious route changes their colour. The picture shows the wall and the four rings. Ball positions may differ in your game. Want to solve it yourself? Open the hints one at a time first.

Tap the wall blocks, then carry red balls to the rings.
Solution
  1. Drag balls through the openingDrag the balls into the opening in the wall. They change colour as they pass through.
  2. Red balls need another wayRed balls can’t use the opening because they would change colour. Tap the two wall blocks beside it to make a path.
  3. Break the wallsTap each wall several times until it breaks. Then carry the red balls through the gap into the rings.
Why it worksThe opening changes the colour of anything that goes through. Red balls have to bypass it, so you tap the side walls until they break and make a second path.
