Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.
To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

Top-left “/”: two petals. Top-right “”: two petals. Bottom-left blank: none. Bottom-right X: all four.
Solution
- Read the centre markTap the petals of each flower to paint them. The mark in the centre says which petals to paint.
- Slashes paint two petalsA “/” means paint the two petals along that slash: the top-right and the bottom-left. A “” means paint the two petals along that slash: the top-left and the bottom-right.
- X and blankAn X means paint all four petals. A blank centre means paint none, so leave that flower white.
Why it worksEach centre mark is a map of the petals to paint. A slash runs through two petals, an X covers both diagonals so it paints all four, and no mark means no petals.
