- Find the ruleThe sequence alternates between two steps: add 4, then double.
- Apply the next stepLook at which step came last and do the other one to the last number.
- AnswerThe next number is 32. Type 32.
Why it worksThe rule isn’t one step repeated but two steps taking turns: +4, ×2, +4, ×2. Following it one more time gives 32.
