Game is Hard is a free puzzle game by Unico Studio for Android and iPhone. Every level looks simple, just a short line of text and a few shapes, but the obvious move almost never works.

To win you might need to tilt your phone, shake it, turn the volume up, or read the question very literally. There are 300 levels, a Master Challenge mode with fresh twists on the hardest puzzles, and it plays offline in 20 languages.

What you see

Solution
  1. The pad moves the ballTap an arrow button attached to the pad and the ball moves in that direction.
  2. Push the buttonsThe ball can push the loose buttons. Use it to push each one back to the pad.
  3. Rebuild the crossPut the buttons back around the pad like the right one: left on the left, up above and down below.
Why it worksThe controller is broken into pieces, and the only thing you can move is the ball. It has to shove each button back to its place around the pad.
