Dear Sirs, your solution seems a bit vague (please allow this remark) as it does not really give the geometrical solution … do as follows: connect point A of one segment to point A’ on the other segment, do this for the other points (B and B’) of the segments as well. Then you have the corresponding “secants” of the two corresponding circles = rotation paths. Construct the perpendiculars on the “secants” – these would be the corresponding radiuses for AA’ and BB’ and the cross-point of these two radiuses is one center of rotation (COR) Do the same with the corresponding “secants” AB’ and A’B and you have the second center of rotation (COR)
