About Everyday Grids Gems
Everyday Grids is a relaxing daily logic-puzzle game by Fanatee with seven different grids: Zip, Gems, Lotus, Panda, Libra, Sums and Hashi. Everyday Grids Gems is one of them. Split the grid into rectangles (gems). Each gem holds exactly one number, and that number is its size in cells. Every level can be solved with pure logic, with no guessing and no luck, and a brand-new Normal and Hard Gems puzzle is released every day. The game is free to download on Android and iPhone.

Everyday Grids Gems Normal Answer, Jun 28, 2025
7×7 grid- 0/23Every number needs one rectangle of exactly that many cells, and rectangles can't overlap or contain two numbers. Tap Start to follow all 23 logical steps, no guessing.
- 1/23Draw a 1 wide × 7 tall rectangle for the 7 at R3C7 . Of the 2 rectangles of area 7 that could hold it, only this one still works, of the others, 1 contains another number.
- 2/23No other number has a rectangle that can cover R1C1, R2C1, R2C4, so they all must belong to the 8 at R2C4 . That leaves it only one possible shape.
- 3/23Draw a 4 wide × 2 tall rectangle for the 8 at R2C4 . Of the 12 rectangles of area 8 that could hold it, only this one still works, of the others, 8 contain another number, 2 miss cells this number must cover, 1 overlaps a finished rectangle.
- 4/23No other number has a rectangle that can cover R1C5, so it must belong to the 2 at R1C5 . That narrows it to 2 possible shapes.
- 5/23No other number has a rectangle that can cover R2C6, R3C6, so they all must belong to the 3 at R3C6 . That narrows it to 2 possible shapes.
- 6/23No other number has a rectangle that can cover R3C3, R4C3, so they all must belong to the 6 at R4C3 . That narrows it to 4 possible shapes.
- 7/23No other number has a rectangle that can cover R5C1, R5C2, so they all must belong to the 6 at R5C2 . That narrows it to 4 possible shapes.
- 8/23No other number has a rectangle that can cover R5C5, so it must belong to the 6 at R5C5 . That narrows it to 2 possible shapes.

- 10/23No other number has a rectangle that can cover R6C4, R7C3, R7C4, so they all must belong to the 8 at R6C4 . That narrows it to 3 possible shapes.
- 11/23The 6 at R5C5 has 2 possible rectangles left, and all of them cover R3C5, R4C5. So those cells belong to it whichever shape it ends up as.

- 17/23No other number has a rectangle that can cover R1C6, so it must belong to the 2 at R1C5 . That leaves it only one possible shape.
- 18/23Draw a 2 wide × 1 tall rectangle for the 2 at R1C5 . Of the 3 rectangles of area 2 that could hold it, only this one still works, of the others, 1 overlaps a finished rectangle, 1 misses cells this number must cover.
- 19/23No other number has a rectangle that can cover R2C5, so it must belong to the 6 at R5C5 . That leaves it only one possible shape.
- 20/23Draw a 1 wide × 6 tall rectangle for the 6 at R5C5 . Of the 16 rectangles of area 6 that could hold it, only this one still works, of the others, 1 overlaps cells already claimed by another number, 10 contain another number, 3 overlap a finished rectangle, 1 misses cells this number must cover.
- 21/23Draw a 4 wide × 2 tall rectangle for the 8 at R6C4 . Of the 12 rectangles of area 8 that could hold it, only this one still works, of the others, 2 overlap cells claimed by another number, 4 contain another number, 5 overlap a finished rectangle.

How to Solve Everyday Grids Gems: Quick Tips
- Begin with numbers that fit only one rectangle shape, often big numbers in tight spaces.
- Look for empty cells that only one number can reach; they must belong to that number.
- Cells shared by every possible shape of a number always belong to it, even before you know the exact shape.
- A 1 is already complete, and a 2 can only go in a straight pair.
