    The solution is easier to understand if you rotate the added lines in the circle by 180 degrees. The first line is the width of the arc created by our angle. The second line is a perpendicular bisector of the first line. If we then draw the radius from the intersaction our angle makes with the cricle, we can use the inscribed angle theorem to prove that the shown line is indeed the bisector of our angle.
