Everyday Grids Panda Normal Answer, Jan 7, 2025
7×7 grid- 0/9Each bamboo needs its own panda right next to it (up, down, left or right). Pandas never touch, and the edge numbers count pandas per row and column. Tap Start to follow all 9 logical steps, no guessing.
- 1/9Row 5, row 7 need no pandas at all, mark every cell there as grass.
- 2/9Every panda must sit directly above, below, left or right of a bamboo. These 9 cells have no bamboo next to them, so they are grass.
- 3/9Row 6 needs 3 pandas in total and has exactly 3 open cells left for the missing ones, so R6C2, R6C4, R6C6 must all be pandas.
- 4/9Column 4 already has its 1 panda, so the remaining cells (R1C4, R3C4, R4C4) are grass.
- 5/9Row 4 needs 2 pandas in total and has exactly 2 open cells left for the missing ones, so R4C2, R4C5 must all be pandas. Pandas never touch, not even diagonally, so the 3 cells around them become grass.
- 6/9Row 3 needs 1 panda in total and has exactly 1 open cell left for the missing one, so R3C7 must be a panda. Pandas never touch, not even diagonally, so the 1 cell around it becomes grass.
- 7/9Column 1 needs 1 panda in total and has exactly 1 open cell left for the missing one, so R2C1 must be a panda. Pandas never touch, not even diagonally, so the 2 cells around it become grass.
- 8/9Row 1 needs 2 pandas in total and has exactly 2 open cells left for the missing ones, so R1C5, R1C7 must all be pandas.
- 9/9Row 2 needs 2 pandas in total and has exactly 1 open cell left for the missing one, so R2C3 must be a panda. ✅ Solved!

Everyday Grids Panda Hard Answer, Jan 7, 2025
8×8 grid- 0/14Each bamboo needs its own panda right next to it (up, down, left or right). Pandas never touch, and the edge numbers count pandas per row and column. Tap Start to follow all 14 logical steps, no guessing.
- 1/14Every panda must sit directly above, below, left or right of a bamboo. These 14 cells have no bamboo next to them, so they are grass.
- 2/14Look at row 1 (open cells: R1C1, R1C3, R1C7). Pandas in a line can't sit side by side, which leaves 3 ways to place them. In every one of them a panda ends up touching R2C2. So R2C2 can't be a panda.
- 3/14Row 4 still needs 2 more pandas. Pandas in a line can't sit side by side, giving 8 ways to place them, but 5 of those would break a rule elsewhere (a bamboo left with no spot, a row/column overfilled or short, or pandas touching), leaving 3 ways. None of them uses R4C3, R4C4, so they are grass.
- 4/14Row 5 still needs 2 more pandas. Pandas in a line can't sit side by side, giving 5 ways to place them, but 4 of those would break a rule elsewhere (a bamboo left with no spot, a row/column overfilled or short, or pandas touching), leaving only 1 way. Every one of them uses R5C3, R5C7, so those are pandas. Pandas never touch, not even diagonally, so the 6 cells around them become grass.
- 5/14Row 4 needs 2 pandas in total and has exactly 2 open cells left for the missing ones, so R4C1, R4C5 must all be pandas. Pandas never touch, not even diagonally, so the 5 cells around them become grass.
- 6/14Row 6 needs 1 panda in total and has exactly 1 open cell left for the missing one, so R6C1 must be a panda.
- 7/14Column 2 needs 1 panda in total and has exactly 1 open cell left for the missing one, so R8C2 must be a panda. Pandas never touch, not even diagonally, so the 2 cells around it become grass.
- 8/14Column 1 needs 3 pandas in total and has exactly 1 open cell left for the missing one, so R1C1 must be a panda.
- 9/14Column 3 already has its 1 panda, so the remaining cells (R1C3, R3C3) are grass.
- 10/14Row 1 needs 2 pandas in total and has exactly 1 open cell left for the missing one, so R1C7 must be a panda. Pandas never touch, not even diagonally, so the 2 cells around it become grass.
- 11/14Row 3 needs 1 panda in total and has exactly 1 open cell left for the missing one, so R3C7 must be a panda.
- 12/14Column 4 needs 2 pandas in total and has exactly 2 open cells left for the missing ones, so R2C4, R8C4 must all be pandas. Pandas never touch, not even diagonally, so the 2 cells around them become grass.
- 13/14Row 7 needs 1 panda in total and has exactly 1 open cell left for the missing one, so R7C6 must be a panda. Pandas never touch, not even diagonally, so the 2 cells around it become grass.
- 14/14Row 8 needs 3 pandas in total and has exactly 1 open cell left for the missing one, so R8C8 must be a panda. ✅ Solved!

How to Solve Everyday Grids Panda: Quick Tips
- Rows and columns marked 0 are all grass, and so is every cell with no bamboo beside it.
- A bamboo with only one free neighbouring cell gets its panda there straight away.
- Pandas never touch, even diagonally, clear the 8 cells around each panda you place.
- Count each line: if the open cells exactly match the number still needed, they are all pandas.
