Bird Find Level 166 Answers & Walkthrough Guide

Welcome to the Bird Find Level 166 answers page. If you have been stuck at this level wondering whether it takes a bird or an egg, this is the page you want. Bird Find Level 166 is an 8×8 grid with 11 squares filled in from the start, and it needs 4 birds and 4 eggs in every row and every column. There are 6 of the = and × clues across the board, and they carry a lot of the early work.
Press See Solution for the finished grid, or use Step by step to watch all 53 placements appear one at a time. Every move is also written out underneath with the reason it has to go that way, so nothing here needs guessing.
About the game
Bird Find is a quiet binary logic puzzle where every square ends up holding either a bird or an egg, and you work out which by deduction rather than luck. Birds and eggs come out even in each row and column, three of the same kind never sit together in a line, and no two rows or columns end up identical. Squares joined by an = match each other, squares joined by a × are opposites, and there is no timer rushing you through any of it.

Tip: most of the progress on this particular grid came down to spotting two of the same kind already side by side, which settles the squares at both ends. That is usually the first thing worth trying when a board stops moving.
